Welcome to a walking tour of parking and the built
environment! Today, you will explore six locations which
relate to parking in an urban setting. Some were previously
parking lots while some were buildings. All will ask you to
reflect on the tension between parking for personal vehicles
and urban spaces. We will begin our tour today in Alumni Park,
located right next to Memorial Union on the UW-Madison Campus.
